Tricarico was looking at attending Cal State Fullerton, University of Hawaii and Cal State Long Beach to continue his academic and athletic career but settled in on coming to Canada and TRU. Tricarico was a four time winner of the most improved player honour in high school. “ Blocking is my main strength but I also have a pretty good arm swing.” He had 43 blocks in 43 games last season. ![]() The graduate of Marina High School has played middle his entire volleyball career. ![]() He was a first team All Conference all-star as the Rustlers went 9 and 9 in the California Community College Athletic Association in 2010-11. The 6’7” middle played the last two seasons at Golden West Community College. Hennelly is pleased to announce the commitment of Jacob Tricarico (pronounced tri-care-i-coe) of Huntington Beach, California. Now he has another top player to add to his arsenal. Head Coach Pat Hennelly will have Canadian Junior National team member Alex Davis (White Rock, BC) along with newly recruited Mohamed AbdelMoniem of Egypt.
